A Happy Scrappy Day!

Yesterday the unimaginable happend...I finished two layouts in one day!  I was so proud of myself and I had such a blast!  The stars must have been aligned just right because the creative juices were flowing and I made two layouts that I just love!  Working with summertime photos may have had something to do with my crafter's high.  It was a real mood lifter playing with bright cheerful colors and summertime pics.  If the winter blues have you down, I reccomend pulling out some Spring and Summer photos and get cropping!! Here are the memories I scrapbooked that really made me feel like I'd just been to the beach...

Notice here the bubble? Well, it's actually part of the packaging that some buttons came in.  I love it when I can reduce, reuse, recycle!!

  3. Hello Carole,
Or perhaps I should say "Bonjour", as I'm in France! This is the first time I've visited your blog and couldn't go without saying how beautiful your layouts are. I'm awestruck with "Taking Flight" - great photos and a superb page!
My husband and I moved to France last year and all my scrapping gear is still in boxes in England, waiting to come over, so I can't really scrap at the moment. I'm contenting myself with taking LOTS of photos and seeking inspiration for when my scissors arrive.....
I have a feeling your blog is going to be SERIOUSLY inspirational, so I'm now going to spend some happy time looking at it.
    Best wishes
    Lisa
