About Me

My name is Carole Stirrat. I am a domestic diva and stay at home mom to one lovely four year old girl, and have been married to my high school sweetheart for twelve years. In the twelve years my husband and I have been together, we also lived the life of a military family while he served in the US Navy. Although I am proud that he served our country, I am thrilled to say that I have survived my term as a military spouse and we are finding peace while we set down our roots near our hometown in Oregon.

I have been scrapbooking for roughly five years now and have gone through several styles of creating. Papercrafting was love at first cut and paste. I am an embellishment hound and love finding new ways for adding accents to my projects. Currently I find that I lean towards working in a shabby chic style, but I also like to work with other styles. I have a background in Fine Arts, oil painting specifically, and find that I love to play with all sorts of mediums when it comes to my artwork or papercrafting. Like most who love the art of papercrafting, I find myself all consumed by the thoughts of my next project and itching to get my hands dirty and sticky with adhesives. Scrapbooking is what keeps me sane. Having all sorts of mini goals for current and upcoming projects is key to my happiness.
